Well, I've heard that the ideal time for a nap is 20 minutes and under or at least 1.5 hrs. The former is because you get to rest your body without dropping into deep sleep, and the latter is so that you can get through at least one full sleep cycle and thus feel rested. Of course, I can't remember where I learned this so I may just be talking out of my ass.
