Basic Linux Distro for Server?
Greetings all,
I'm interested in learning to use Linux, and at the same time I'd like to setup my own web server. I have the hardware, and I'm already familiar with the domain name process. Basically what I'd like to do is setup a box that would act as a webhost and mail server, and not much else. I'm downloading Slackware and Mandrake right now, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for other beginner distros I should look into.
I was also wondering if anyone had any recommendations for web and e-mail server software?
