Trust me, the X800 Pro(assuming that's what Krycheck meant
) is THE best performance card that ATI has to offer currently (other than the X800 XT PE (Platinum Edition)). We're talking a 150%-300% increase in performance here over the 9800 Pro. A serious, serious increase, that makes last year seem like it never happened. Any graphics enthusiast remembers the debacle that was the FX series. I mean, seriously, the 5700? It was a damn leafblower. In any case, the answer to your question is, yes, the X800 Pro is a far superior card to a 9800 Pro 256 MB card.
