i used to visit those kind of boards. didn't participate, just visit. then i found this one, and have been here ever since.
but what's even worse than totally unmoderated boards are poorly moderated ones. at least with unmodded boards you kinda know what you're getting into. poorly modded boards give the illusion that the mods will step up and do something in case something goes awry, only for you to find out that the mods are just as bad, if not worse, than the other members.
