Give them the cloak of anonimity, and suddenly those checks and balances disappear. The only thing you can do is weed out those posters who abuse that anonimity by means of (good) moderators. That's why I will never go to an unmoderated board. Some people claim unmoderated boards are better because you have the freedom to say what you want with no restrictions. I see it, however, as anarchy over a wire.
