Your sarcasm aside, it is a simple fact that if having one makes you uncomfortable, or if you feel you cannot handle the
responsibilities inherent to gun ownership, then you should not have one.
Some people cannot handle knives well, and repeatedly cut themselves if they ever try to chop anything (in food preparation)... and many of them simply do not use knives unless they must because they know their limitations.
There is no shame in knowing your limitations.
