It really depends on what you are looking for in a magazine.
Pro Football Weekly is great if you want team previews and lots of stats.
I like Football News better because it gives you feature stories, columns, statistics, scores, schedules, and analysis. It has an better overall package and the fact that there are more stories and columns makes it great.
Football Digests is very similar and they do great player and coatch interviews. They have a good stats section and a department called Rising Star, I believe, where they tell you who is going to be hot in the new season.
I also read ESPD: The Magazine, it is great. It has information on match-ups, players profiles, columns and more. If you have any intrest in other sports it is a great suplimentary read, because they cover more than just football. If you can afford it I suggest picking this one up as well.
Remeber, some magazies can be read online, or at least some of the key stories, so have a look and you might be able to save yourself some money.

Great info, thanks!
I have a follow-up question or two...
Looking at the subscription rates of the above magazines, Pro Football Weekly stands out as being noticeably more expepensive ($50 for 20 issues on the insert I saw), and I am wondering if it is "worth" the extra money, over say, Football Digest or Football News?
Also, is there any issue relating to delivery time? For instance, football is played on a Sunday, so the "Action" happens all on one day, and I'm wondering if this results in "old" information, or if the magazines are able to stay decently recent in terms of games, match-ups, etc.?
Thanks again!
