Fahrenheit 9/11 - Clueless?
This isn't about what people think of the movie. This is more of a poll or a question for the members here.
I've noticed a huge amount of people seeing this movie and then being astonished at how bad the Bush administration handled "this" or "that" and how the Bush administration was terrible and caused "this" and "that." I'm sure the movie is great and all, in fact, I know it is, because the critics are going crazy over it.
My question is: All of you people out there that are falling in love with this movie and agreeing with Michael Moore and lapping it all up DO KNOW that he distorts and construes the real truth to all of that stuff, right? I mean it's a known fact. We had an argument at work the other day over this. Some fellow co-workers explaining how bad Bush was and how he could have done "this" or "that" and how Michael Moore is uncovering the truth and being a rebel and showing the nation what REALLY goes on. They didn't even know about Bowling for Columbine and the horrible exaggerations and editting! I told them that Michael Moore isn't exactly known for showing the whole truth and he manipulates film to show his point, and they were in disbelief and refused to believe it.
My question is, how many of you actually know that his is happening? I see a lot of people saying how good the movie is and how we should DO SOMETHING about the next election (simply because of viewing the movie!), but they fail to mention the immature film-making methods of Michael Moore that are undeniable and true. I wonder how many movie-goers out there really believe all of his movie material is cut and dry....
You guys do know about his "methods," right?
