But don't forget, the Green Goblin was not a villain of his own will either. He had a fractured, split personality thing going on as a result of the Green Goblin injection he took. He wasn't a great guy beforehand, but he wasn't a villain either.
I'd just like to see them change it up a bit for the next movie...
