Usually I have a steadfast rule against posting pieces that aren't done, since often they can be confusing, and not give the intended effect of the finished piece, however here's one that I've been working on for about a week on/off.
The piece is influenced by the organic-style paintings and tattoos of Guy Aitchison, with some of my own imagery thrown in for good measure (specifically the eyes and the face in the background).
The piece is fully finished now, as of last night, however I haven't yet taken pictures, since I feel that there are a few little details that still need tweaked.
Since these pictures were taken, the large blank space starting from the center of the left edge wrapping to the top right hand corner has been shaded/partially colored and the red in the bottom right, along with the above mentioned swirl have both been re-outlined with very bold black lines to set them off from the middle- and back-ground (almost as a sort of "frame").
Any commentary on what would make the image work better, specifically as a tattoo-style design are greatly appreciated.

My "signature" (a stretched flesh-like space with an inset human eye, common to many of my newer pieces):
Also, it's not apparent in the photographs, but most of the orange (especially the glow around the top of the lotus, and the highlights on the orange organic figure to the left) are a bright neon color, which adds a feeling that the objects are glowing.
