so, i installed mandy 10 yesterday, but couldn't get access to the internet, or my ethernet card. turns out, it's a problem with the distribution that you have to install updates for. i finally broke down and installed mandy 9.2, then upgraded to 10.0, and installed all the updates during the format before 10.0 nuked my connection. i had to reconfigure my ethernet card to get net access, but other than that no more problems. i was just wondering, what would cause this, and has anyone had similar problems (and if you have, i hope this helps)
