No they weren't. The media was cheering on the war for quite a while especially during the lead up (the most critical time).
FAIR was documenting it the whole way.
If more Americans read or watched independent media like
Democracy Now!, we would most likely had never gone to war. They were asking for the evidence and questioning the rationale for war long before it had even started. Someone even made
a documentary about it.
