Oh, I just looked at your new edit.
Alright, the .sys file is the driver itself (I'm pretty sure. Someone back me up on this one?) Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to install it without a separate installer.
Do you know which soundcard or what motherboard you have so we can see if we can find drivers for the sound?
