I'm not arguing for the elimination of automobiles. It was an admittedly facetious example. As you know, I do that a lot just for the sake of argument.

And that's my point right there. The product has
drastically and irrevocably changed society, the landscape, and the lives of every single individual on earth, and not once did anyone
ever question the necessity nor the presumed benefits of introducing it into either society or the environment prior to doing so.
