Well, I was greedy at the time, so I asked help from a friend and it turned out it worked

What it was, was that I had FAT16 and didn't even realise it. What I had to do was undo that and redo it as an FAT32. This uncapped the size until it's maximum astonishing, jaw dropping 40 gigs
