Anyway, it is very comical to hear someone like Roddick preach about sporting behaviour. When he grows up and stops throwing his toys out of the pram everytime things dont go hs way, THEN he can talk. Roddick is a magnificent player, but sadly he is also one of the most classless individuals on the tour.
You could see K-Lina was confused, but the error was in her favour and she has NO obligation to call it. Rather than blaming her, why dont people ask how the umpire could make such a cock up, and why none of his line judges (who are all also umpires) didnt tell him?
Venus, who is one of the truly great players of her generation, had the class to say that she didnt lose cos of one scoring mistake, she lost cos on the day K-Lina was the better player. its a shame that so many of Venus' fans and fellow American players can't conduct themselves with the same dignity Venus did.
yes, it was an awful cock up, yes the umpire should be sacked, but K-Lina beat Venus over 2 sets, not one one point. It was a great victory against a great player, and it makes me mad that this issue is distracting from how well K-Lina played!!!!

Yeah, watching that was really confusing and you can obviously hear the line judge say, "Fault."
I have more respect for Venus now because she did take the high road and didn't whine about the bad call.
