Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey, and Wilco are some of my favorite groups. I love the Pixies but it says they were playing to only New York, so I would have missed them anyway. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Von Bondies and Gomez and The Flaming Lips and all the others would have been great to watch. This sucks.
I admit, I didn't buy a ticket, but I actually forgot about Lollapalooza after I heard about it a couple months ago. Maybe I'm never in the right place to hear the advertising?
