carbonated water has been the method of choice for flight attendents for years.

Start with the least caustic method first. oxyclean is a concentrated bleach, and while I doubt that it would hurt nylon, it is overkill to try first.

I would start with the carbonated water, after that a mild household cleaner like 409 or something of that nature.

Then I would move up to the enzyme cleaners like Shout or Resolve.

If that didn't work, I would try a mild solvent such as you find in spot rug cleaners.

There are still more steps up the ladder, but by now I would start to question if it is worth it to get out what stain might be left, or leave well enough alone.
