I think that if I had a time machine and tried to improve myself, it would be a little selfish of me. Instead, this is what I would do...
2001 - Get up very early, take the 30 min drive to portland, find a baseball bat, and beat the shit out of those two middle-eastern guys headed for Boston. Then call up the FBI and tell them about the other hihjackers in New York and Washington. in the case they wouldn't believe me, I would call in bomb threats to both airports. Sure, I'd go to jail, but at least I would end up saving a lot of people.
It would be wierd though, because no one would ever know what was going to happen. And would never know that the crazy guy who called in bomb threats just saved thier lives.
I just think that if i was somehow given this once in a lifetime oppertunity, thats what I would do.
Sure, I could try to stop Hitler, or end ww2, or any other war for that matter, but I chose 9-11 because I could probally stop all of it myself.
