In 2004, you should be able to use your profile, but also any golfer you want..
Like it will ask you what profile you want to use, and then you can select a golfer other than your created one..
At least that is how it worked if I remember correctly.. I know I used Charles Howell III to do most of the scenarios and got a decent amount of money to use on my created player (Vanilla Ice).
