every place has natural disasters or phenomenon of some sort.. there isn't a place in the world that doesn't have something that can cause natural havoc of some sort... from bitter cold temperatures to hot muggy days.
then there is still LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION... due to trade routes, ease of egress/digress, and other places.
