I have believed for a while, and still believe, that Ken Griffey Jr., at his best, is the greatest all-around baseball player of my lifetime. He could hit, run, throw, and field better then anyone, and probably still can.
Barry Bonds is a great hitter, and was a good baserunner, but his defense was never as good as that of KGJ.
