Well the US is the largest single donor to charities and aid agencies working in the region, so that's not exactly fair. What was implied was that the UK was the second, and shouldnt be, as pretty much the rest of the G8 has more money than the Brits.
My question is why is the US media completely ignoring this situation? Also stated in the Commons debate linked above was that this could turn into another Rwanda - unless things change quickly.
