Gosh, nothing new to add I suppose...just rehashing what everyone has said....
I used to be addicted to soda as well....straight up, a 12 pack a day....I stopped drinking soda and lost 15 pounds....boom, gone, nearly overnight....
Also, those Brita Water Bottles....not the big ones for your fridge, the water bottle size....built in filter, fill it up anywhere, drink at least 3-4 a day....really helps you get all your water, mobilizes your fat, and helps you LOOSE water weight....
If you can't get weights or equipment to exercise, or ride a bike, or go to a gym, or *insert other time-consuming exercise activity here* just march infront of your tv for an hour....anything to get the heart rate up...
SET GOALS! Those middle school health teachers weren't kidding....it really helps to have a clear goal in mind....not, "I'm going to loose 60 pounds in 3 months and look like nicole kidman" but "I'm going to exercise 3 times a week, and keep my calories to 1500 a day".
Reward yourself when you reach those goals....a manicure, a new lipstick, a small shopping trip to Victoria Secret, a DVD you want....anything that makes you feel good about your progress....
