Yeah, you see -you are expecting to not pay anything and leave with a vehicle. In most states there is something called a lemon law. This means that you can just return a car within a set amount of time from it's original purpose. For all they know in the dealership -you are just some guy who wants to drive around in a new car for a week and then turn it in... "Thanks but no thanks".
You wondered why they wouldn't give you the real price which is probably 30K... It's because without any cash down you just aren't a serious buyer.
