Hmm...I've always thought of it as humble.
I *do* use imo fairly oft, but rarely imho, I just usually don't see it necessary to add the bit about humility, as I generally use 'imo' when I'm simply trying to clarify that it is merely my opinion, so the humility is implied to an extent, in my usage.
If I need to include a bit about 'honest' then I use 'tbh' (to be honest).
I've no problem using some of the more common acronyms on occasion. I view it as efficient (and yes, there is a difference btwn efficient and lazy
).
Acronyms generally don't bug me, so long as they're not totally obscure...and as long as the user makes sure to avoid ridiculous redundancy. Example - something like 'imo, I think...' would drive me batty.
