Unfortunately, the US has nothing like that. After college (intramural or division), I can't think of anything too competitive except for very casual YMCA-type leagues. But, like others have mentioned, if you're very skilled, there are leagues like the CBA.

you are right we have sponsors on our jerseys. I find it somehow dissapointing. USA, THE country with the most entertaining, different, high level sports you can imagine, but very little to nothing for the little men
no offence, but that kinda sucks... so there's no way to enjoy basketball when you are not good enough ? Over here we even have teams sponsers by pubs, so they play a game and afterwards it's beer time
= perfect way to keep in shape and have al the fun of beer
basicly the states are somehow a passive sports country, only possible to do sports when you have a level high enough... pitty
