It's short notice, but I thought this was cool so I figured I'd make a post telling people about it. Apparently, there's an organization of naked bike rides in various cities around the world. The basic idea is to demonstrate natural means of energy and transportation, but aside for that it seems like it'd just be fun anyways :P
The bike ride is on June 12 and in many different places:
Canada : Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, & Victoria
European Union: Belgique/Belgie (Belgium) | Deutschland (Germany) : Pforzheim | España (Spain) Rides organized by Manifestación Ciclonudista for June 19th : Barcelona, Pamplona, Zargoza | Nederland (Netherlands) : Apeldoorn | United Kingdom : England : London ; Scotland : Edinburgh
New Zealand : Golden Bay
United States : Asheville, NC; Austin, TX; Bellingham, WA (June 19); Berkeley, CA (during June 11 Critical Mass); Boulder, CO; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Olympia, WA; Portland, OR; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA
Anyhoo, just thought I'd tell people about it cause I figure some people at TFP might be interested in something like this. Be it for political reasons or simply the experience.
