Fishing?
I looked for a place to post about fishing, and tilted sports seemed to be as good as anything.
Here's my quick backstory. My dad is big into hunting and fishing, but I grew up in the city and didn't end up doing it all that often. The trips I did go on taught me quite a bit, and now that I'm a bit older, I'm looking at picking it up a bit more.
I consider myself lucky to live in Arkansas, at least when it comes to fishing. There are plenty of places to go. My plan is to go pick up some cheap gear, and find a bank somewhere and try to catch something. I think I can get most of what I need for under 50 bucks:
Cheap rod and reel, hooks, 5 gallon bucket, pliers, small tackle-box, a couple of lures, and a cricket bucket.
I'm not out to go catch a 10 pound bass or anything; I just want to catch a few fish. I'm hoping that there are a few people out there that can give me some more advice, or mabye clue me in to something I haven't thought of, or offer a bit of advice. All for now.
