I wasn't happy when they sold out to Daimler. I was even less happy when all their designers quit after the sellout. For awhile there, Chrysler was coming out with some kick ASS designs - the PT Cruiser (reliable or not, the design is a major hit), the 300M, even their minivans looked good for a minivan. Now their cars are getting ugly again and the reliability isn't any better. You can get away with ugly if it's reliable (see: Corolla) and you can get away with unreliable if it's great looking (see: older Jaguars) but you can't get away with an ugly AND unreliable car.
