This happens quite often to me, games I find hard are easy to others and vice versa.

That's weird! Are you sure you played it on Normal? A lot of my friends said they did, but when they loaded it back up, it was actually on Easy. Most of the reviewers mentioned it being hard as fuck too.
I did beat it, but some bosses took 30+ tries.
I know how ya feel though! A lot of people complain about how hard certain missions are in the GTA games. I find myself owning those missions and getting my ass kicked on the easy ones.
