I never had a moment in the game where the fixed camera fucked me over. It's not really fixed, either...it's fully 3D, on top of the fact that it follows Dante around so you can see everything. Some games are ruined by fixed cameras, but certainly not Devil May Cry.
Now, about the second one...ahh who cares, it sucked. That's all anyone needs to know!
