I know I started a thread several months ago to the same end. I used
http://www.bestmachine.com for a term and then left for browner pastures at
http://www.jumpline.com. I'll be moving again before long and probably to a dedicated Linux box somewhere.
I also posted a thread a few weeks ago to discuss a host offering a plan that cost less than $1 per month.

That took all of 10seconds to find under the search terms: "cheap host" and its $0.17 month.
