I know Okafor is a good player and stuff, but is he really that good?
Yes he's probably the best player in this draft, but if you ask me, he's not going to be able to dominate immediately.
One thing that does go for him is that if he is drafted by the Magic, he's in the East and he should be able to do more.
However, how many 6-9 PFs are that successful in the NBA? The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are Big Ben Wallace and AK47 even though AK47 is more of a SF. Another concern is his health.
Okafor is the best player in this draft, but if they could trade the #1 pick for a proven player, i would do it.
