Man Loses Lawsuit Against Viacom Over Super Bowl Halftime Show

SALT LAKE CITY -- A judge in Utah is rejecting a lawsuit over the Super Bowl halftime show.
A Utah lawyer sued Viacom -- the owner of CBS -- in small-claims court for false advertising, claiming he was led to believe the show would be a family-oriented patriotic celebration.
But a judge says Eric Stephenson made his own assumptions -- and ruled in favor of Viacom on Wednesday.
The halftime show included the infamous Janet Jackson breast-baring incident. Stephenson also objected to Jackson and her dancers simulating sex acts on stage -- and said singer Kid Rock desecrated the American flag by wearing it as a poncho. He sued Viacom for five-thousand dollars.
Stephenson says he's disappointed.
