A friend of mine did this before her honeymoon. She consulted her doctor and she said it was perfectly safe for her to do it.

I did the same things for several vacations and for my honeymoon in Jamacia.
No problems at all. Esp. since I had been on the pill for several years prior.
Go for it. If you goof then there are ways to correct the situation.
