After seeing the trailer for The Terminal I was thinking that this might be the first Spielberg film that I'm not excited at all about seeing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a die hard/"Spielberg can do no wrong" Spielberg fan, but I think he's one of those directors you can always count on. With the execption of one film (The Lost World), I can't really imagine walking out of one of his films thinking, "God, that was horrible!!" Well, I was able to see a screening of The Terminal last night and IMO it was a good movie. It was very...cute I guess (can't think of a better word to use, but there must be one). On the negative side, there were many times that I found myself thinking, "come on, that would NEVER happen." There were just so many things about it that were unbelievable. Spielberg usually isn't in the business of making "believable" movies though, and I guess that's one that's one thing that nice about him. I also felt like it was a little long, but at the same time I was REALLY hungry, so maybe that's why it felt so long.
Anyway... I liked the movie. I would go see it. Just thought I would share.
