Amelia and I watched the evening news to discover how America's "top counter terrorism agent" is saying that Al-quida is here and planning to attack this summer. And if that doesn't scare enough people, they plan to use biological, chemical or radiological warfare. Of course noone knows where though. (My paranoia says it will be in the heartland or an amusement park, somewhere the government deems expendable, but not too big of a casualty loss. Just enough to establish Martial Law.)

Now whether or not this is true, it is the government's job to cover this up until they have solid facts or ideas where and when the hits will come, so that there isn't mass panic everywhere (much like a police department tries to hide serial killings as long as possible). Instead, the day after Bush needed a big rah rah speech and instead gave a speech that left even GOP members wondering about the war, comes this.

So of course my little paranoidal mind and that of the lovly Miss Amelia's worked together (for a change) and decided this was Bush's way of getting panic stirred so that he can control people. (It is far easier to control placid people, but the people are waking up to him so now he needs the strong armed methods.... induce panic.)

Anyway, the lovely Miss Amelia and I are going to get passports ready and are now in the process of researching which country to emigrate to. I think the only "safe" countries (as Canada will fall with the US) will be Norway, Sweden and Finland. Amelia is more of the mindset Australia or Canada.

I told Amelia if we truly are leaving we better do it before the armed guards and the Homeland Security guys are in the airports deciding who will go where and when. It is a definite guarantee that we are leaving if Bush is re-elected or postpones any elections.

I am paranoid, but not delusional or conspiratorial to where I need a tin foil hat or believe the tv talks to me personally. But after the news and realizing it's coming the very day after Bush gave a bomb of a speech...... it's awfully fishy and truly a way to get people begging for more "security".

I never thought I'd get this far, I always believed the US would right itself. That , we the people, would catch ourselves from having such power hungry evil men in office. Hopefully, I am crazy. Hopefully, a year or 2 from now I can laugh with those who are laughing at me now, BUT...... I don't think so. I think the worst is still to come.

I think the worst is still to come. __________________ I just love people who use the excuse "I use/do this because I LOVE the feeling/joy/happiness it brings me" and expect you to be ok with that as you watch them destroy their life blindly following. My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?"
