Phoenix anyone?
Heading off to Phoenix in the middle of the freaking summer in a few weeks. We're coming from DC, though we were in Palm Springs, CA a few months ago, so we're used to the desert.
Any "must see" things in the city? Touristy or not, just looking for stuff to do. We're staying at the Marriott Desert Ridge Resort on the north side of town and we have a rental for at least a few days. I scrapped a trip to the Grand Canyon cause it would have been hellacious to drive there and back right after a flight. Sedona is even too far at this point.
Any ideas?
