In an era of fatcat lobbyists and special interests running the show, the ballot, once every couple of years, is your only power. I'd rather see you vote for Bush than not exercise that power.
I hate to sound like a cliche, but you, and your friends, CAN make a difference. I guess the only question is, would you rather expend all this effort and energy getting people not to vote, or expend it getting them to vote on something, someone you care about. If you're really serious about the former, then I pity you.
PS Colorado is a swing state, with some real potential for a very heated contest this November. Get involved - make that difference.
