The hardest part is finding one part. An S-Video to VGA converter. The only other thing besides the console you need is a S-Video cable for that specific console. After that you're good to go

thank you for the information. I did see the other thread that asked that specific question, but it did not grab my undivided attention as my latest consoles are an Atari 7800 and NES 8-bit system. Currently I would rather spend the money on a new controller for the 7800 rather than a newer console system, but I am open to the idea of hving a PS/X-box/etc.
