EXCELLENT NEWS!
for those of you who gave up on the TC series, I must tell you that the Second Chronicles (books 4, 5, and 6) are well worth any misgivings you might have on the first three (and in particular, the first, Lord Foul's Bane).
Gjefflin: I understand your feelings about the rape. I too seriously had trouble with the first 3 or 4 chapters. But I plowed through and was rewarded by the effort. If you do the same, you will find that the rape is a CRITICAL issue later on in the series. In fact, one might go so far as to say it is THE most important part of the series, in that the guilt that Covenant feels over the act becomes the motivation that drives him throught the entire series.
