Best thing to drink down the pub
I have recently decided to get fit. I never used to have to worry about my weight, but ever since I was about 22, I've been very gradually growing a belly.
As a Brit, much, if not most of my social activity unavoidably centres around going to the pub. I don't want to give up my social life to get fit, but I know that beer is supposed to be fattening. I was wondering what the least unhealthy thing to drink at the pub is. I don't want to stop getting drunk or be stigmatised and beaten up for drinking red wine (the healthiest of alcoholic drinks) I'm sure spirits with fizzy mixers are just as unhealthy as beer, so what's the answer? G and T? Or am I just not dedicated enough?
