989 actually have decent baseball games, I loved '99 and 2005 has been getting good reviews.
There is one problem with MVP. There's a glitch where you basically can't hit with left-handers. The ball just has less lift and falls faster than that of a right handed batter.

One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together. They each bought a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust.
