-> The opening to Toni Braxton's Spanish Guitar and pretty much the rest of the song when the guitar plays softly during the non-vocal parts
-> Unbreak My Heart from Toni which has a similar sounding guitar in the opening and background and the point that sticks in my mind - 3:56 to 4:02 where she hold the note for six seconds. Not quite as long in the spanish version but almost as long there too.
-> Seven Come Eleven as played by Benny Goodman and company. The recording I have in mind is 8:44 or thereabouts and the opening is a wonderful slow buildup started by the drums that really gets roaring by the end.
