Why is music SO FREAKING WHINY these days?!
I heard that godawful piece of crap called "The Reason" by Hoobastank today.
WHY DO PEOPLE VOLUNTARILY LISTEN TO THAT???? WHO WANTS TO LISTEN TO SOMEONE PISS AND MOAN AND WHINE FOR 5 MINUTES STRAIGHT WHILE PLAYING TWO OR MAYBE THREE OF THE SAME DAMN GUITAR CHORDS??
It seems like music got that way a couple years ago when "nu-metal" or whatever became popular.
At this rate of increasing whininess, I predict that in a couple years from now, rock stations will begin playing nothing but sound clips of three year olds being told that they have to go to bed early.
