Not sure if this option helps any, but usually if you save a file as Rich Text Formatting (RTF) it is usually more portable and saves many of the basic formatting features used in different word processors.
Also is there any way to save in a lower wordperfect format? Or do the orginal files have to be in wordperfect 9 format?
