The Honda CBR and Yamaha R6 are both terrific bikes, but if this is your first bike you might want to take a Rider's Safety Course...
Those 600cc sportbikes might not fit in with the kind of riding you actually intend to do. If they are tho... I know you'll be happy with the R6. Keep the shiny side up.
