I drive a 2003 SE 5 speed in white...
The "power" thing is somewhat misleading. The car is light, quick, and incredibly responsive. Porshe tuned suspension, and it corners like it. I have NO complaints about power - either at the line, or on the highway. The amount of low end trurque is amazing, and I get from 110 Km/h to 140 Km/hr VERY quickly when I drop to 4th gear to pass. I have had the car up to 180 km/h and there was no floating whatsoever... it was still very solid... and I still had pedal left.
The HP/$$$ ratio is fantastic, and add in the best warranty out there, and I have no problem recommending this car to anyone.
Plus, it looks awesome glinting in the sun... <GRIN>
My complaint is resale value though... as in I have none. The problem is everyone remembers that 1980 Colt driving down the highway blowing oil everywhere....
