SUPERGLUE IS NOT WATER SOLUBLE!
It was designed to glue people back together. It's solvent is Acetone which is found in some (BUT NOT ALL) nail polish removers. (Know that smell, that's acetone). Acetone will dissolve superglue. But test it first to see how bad it might bleach the garment.
Remember kids: Water Dissolves Most Anything (see Grand Canyon), If not, try Alcohol, it that doesn't work try Acetone. Then If all else fails, MEK (Methyl Ethly Ketone) Will Disolve Just About anything else.
Like the development engineer was told. "Johnson has found the universal solvent, Now we need a bottle to hold it in."
